CELEBRATING A LEGENDARY RETIREMENT!

🚴‍♂️

At 6:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026, Keith officially clocked out for the final time at Rick’s Bike Shop, marking the end of an extraordinary era.

As a cornerstone of our team since day one, Keith has dedicated over 35 years to keeping our community riding smoothly. Beyond tuning and repairing thousands of bicycles, he built something even more valuable: decades of deep, lasting relationships across our entire community.

Because Keith prefers to live off the digital grid—no phone, internet, or social media—the shop has long served as his direct line to everyone. To honor his wish for a low-key send-off, we are hosting a private staff gathering Thursday, September 24.

If you would like to pass along a card, note, well wishes, or a favorite beverage, please drop it off at the shop by Thursday afternoon and our team will ensure it gets directly to him.

Thank you, Keith, for 35+ incredible years. Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement.

Just a reminder, Sunday, September 13th Rick’s Outpost at Gurney Lane MTB Park will be closed.

The remaining Saturday and Sundays of September through Sunday, October 4th The Outpost will be open.

Just a reminder that both the main shop and Rick’s Outpost at Gurney Lane MTB Park will be closed tomorrow, Monday, September 7th. The main shop will be back open, Tuesday, September 8th at 10am.

The Outpost will be open Saturday and Sundays (closed Sunday the 13th) through October 4th.

Everyone needs a trail slaying hardtail. Our very own Scotty Chadwick built this beauty over the winter and it came out amazing. From pedaling local trails to sending it downhill at Thunder Mountain, this bike can handle it all.

Reminder: Rick’s Outpost at Gurney Lane MTB Park operating hours have been reduced to Thursdays-Sundays.

After Labor Day weekend, operating hours will be weekends only through World Cup weekend. October 4th will be the last day of the 2026 season.
