Janet Emberton who has been with SBC for 5 years has recently taken over while Cindy Retires! Sales by Cindy started 10 years ago when we saw a need in the Quincy community for someone to conduct Estate Sales, Moving Sales, Downsizing Sales out of people's homes. We set up, price and let people shop in the home during the 1, 2 to 3 day sale. Like our page to get the latest sales info, we

hope to conduct one Consignor's sale a month at our new office in the old Adams School while conducting up to 2 Sales a month in peoples homes. Recently expanded our sales area to include Carthage, Camp Point, Palmyra, Hannibal, Keokuk, etc.

There is conversations about me not being fair to the elder. When I price my items it goes by how old the item is, the wear it has incurred and my clients concerns. I am never correct on pricing and I apologize. Do not know too many that are. I have lowered prices sometimes after posting a price when I realize I was on the wrong track and sometimes I am not the only one doing the pricing and do not always have time to go back over and check those prices. I apologize to anyone that is offended or irritated. I have a phone number that’s listed everywhere if anybody would like to call and talk to me personally that’s fine.
I try my best to help everyone and owning
a business is hard. I learn everyday and am trying hard to learn to do better daily. I appreciate all my supporters and followers. If there are concerns please come to me and bring it to my attention. That’s all I can do and all I can ask. I am sorry I don’t get right back to all the calls. I try.
