It's almost here! THRESHING DAY! Make sure you come in bright and early to claim your copy. We open at 9 and can't wait to get these gorgeous books into your hands.

And there're other great new releases too including a new Rick Riordan Percy Jackson spin-off series, the latest Investigators, and several fun Advent books - these are books divided into 12 or 24 sections. This week two romance, a mystery, and children's option are available. These sold like crazy last year and I love that there are so many more options this year.

New release Tuesday again!

Most exciting are the dyslexia friendly font printings of ACOTAR and Throne of Glass! I just LOVE accessibility!

And yes, I agree that it's a smidge early to be debating Christmas books but the publishers disagree so there's a couple of cute new Christmas titles for the kids also.

Which book in this week's new releases caught your attention?

For National Read a book day we thought we'd share our staff's August reading wrap-up.

Samantha read and loved Bonfire & Bliss Bookstore by Brittanee Nicole and Just for the Plot by Meghan Quinn.

DeeAnne did a re-read of A Court of Mist and Fury.

Morgan was happy to finish Brimstone by Callie Hart.

Jay has been trucking along in his series by Seth Ring.

Christina read and would recommend Pride and Prejudice and Eddie Winston is Looking for Love.

What are you reading for National Read a Book day?
