Happy Fourth of July from Haven Flower Farm. 🇺🇸🌻

This year may not have looked the way we imagined.

The gardens taught us hard lessons. The soil humbled us. Plans changed more than once. But through every setback, we’ve kept showing up—planting, learning, rebuilding, and believing in what’s still to come.

Farming has a way of reminding you that growth isn’t always visible. Sometimes the most important work is happening beneath the surface.

As we celebrate today, we’re grateful for this beautiful country, the freedom to chase big dreams, and this incredible community that’s choosing to build Haven alongside us.

Here’s to family, friends, fireworks, poolside sits, precious pups, muddy boots, and the hope that every new season brings.

Trial and error on rinse and repeat!

We had a major setback at our new farm this year. After six months of prepping our first farm plot we implemented the deep mulch system and quickly learned that our compost was inadequate to grow in. So we amended it and overdid it, which caused us to lose the majority of our crops anyway.

After farming flowers for 5 years on a much smaller scale as we expand we fail and then cry and then learn and then try again. Here’s to our rising! And here’s to hoping this grass works miracles!

We are fixing a HUGE garden salad on Sunday to Celebrate Mother’s Day. Place your order on our website and request pickup this Saturday, May 9th, so you can serve a LOCALLY GROWN salad while celebrating those special Mommas for Mother’s Day! All grown organically, of course, right here in Raceland!
