Sometimes things don’t always go as planned but it’s ok because that’s life. In case you were wondering how National Night Out went, it did but it didn’t too. It was an interesting day for sure. It was raining when I got there to setup but cleared up moments later. The weather forecast called for a sunny evening but it changed quickly. After setting up, we were only up for about 25 minutes before we were packing up again. The sky got dark quickly and started raining, lightning, and thundering. A thunderstorm came out of nowhere.⛈️🌬️☔️
Although the event got shut down, I still made sales in the few minutes I was there so I’m thankful for that. Thank you to those who stopped by in the short amount of time we had. A huge thank you to our local sheriff’s office, HCSO, for helping every vendor pick up and get everyone out of the thunderstorm in a timely manner. A huge thank you to those officers who helped me setup and pack up my booth.💙🚔
As I mentioned, life doesn’t always go as planned but there is always something to be thankful for. I’m thankful we were able to pack up just in time. I’m thankful our HCSO was able to get everyone to safety. I’m thankful for those who stopped by to support my dream. And I’m thankful my family and I made it home safely.💜🏡
