I had a wonderful time last night with my fellow Amran Divan Ladies being making cards and socializing! Everyone made 3 cards to take home and 3 to donate to the Shrine to be sent to members for things like birthdays, thinking of you and sympathy cards. NONE of these ladies had EVER stamped, but they all did a fantastic job and we had a lot of fun!

We also raised a little money for our First Lady's project of collecting and buying books to take to the Children's Hospital. These books will be for the children to enjoy while in the hospital and then they can take one home to keep. I love this project!

A special thanks to my amazing team members, Barbara and Megan, who came and helped me set up, teach and clean up. I couldn't do what I do without the awesome ladies on my team!

I love that being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator allows me to do something I enjoy, but I also get to share my love of stamping and creativity! It is even better when I get to help others!

It was a busy week here with a lot of fun mixed with adulting. The adulting consisted of the usual household chores, work and the unexpected expense of having our well pump replaced. 😔

But the fun outweighed the adulting as my longest time (not oldest as she keeps reminding me that I am SO much older than her) friend, Becky was able to spend a couple of days with us. We had a wonderful time catching up, eating the yummy food J Jay Langley made and playing with Quiplash with B&B, and visiting a couple of our local hangouts with friends.

But the best part was on our last afternoon together I got to share my love of stamping with her! Becky had never stamped before, said she wasn't crafty, but was willing to give it a go! She is a natural! She supervised me cutting the cardstock and DSP. Then she did all her own stamping, die cutting and assembly to create a lovely, one of a kind birthday card for her sweet daughter who's having a birthday today!

I am so proud of her and grateful for the time we got to spend together.

Mom and I had a great time making our quilt square cards today! This is a great project for using your DSP that is pretty quick and easy!

I definitely need to step up my game this week as Momi is all ready to go and I still need to decide which DSP and supplies I am going to use! So, you have lots of time to get ready today! Grab your supplies and come stamp along with us at 7:00pm tonight!

Here are the measurements and supply list:
Cardstock:
• 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” and scored at 4 1/4”
• 3 1/2” x 4 3/4” -- this layer can be a neutral or colored cardstock
• 3 1/4” x 4 ½”
• 3: 3” x 4 1/4” Basic White or neutral cardstock
• 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White or neutral for the inside of you cardbase is a dark color

DSP – These should all three be different patterns
• 3 @ 1”x3” 1
Supplies:
• Stamps, punches, and dies that coordinate with your DSP
• A sentiment stamp if the set you picked doesn't have one or isn't the one you want to use
• Paper Trimmer
• Ribbon & Embellishments to complete your card
• Your favorite adhesives
