Two years ago we closed down our Cary location (TPPD) and transformed into a fabulous little boutique nestled in the five point neighborhood in Raleigh, NC. When we moved we decided to change our name to Monroe.26 Two main reasons...I felt like we outgrew the “cuteness” of The Purple Polka Dot. We needed a more savvy, unique, chic name that “fit” us! My family means the 🌎 to me!!! When I started TPPD my oldest was 6 months to the day! Now, he is 7!! And the baby is almost 5 🙀 They are the reason, I bust ass everyday! I do it for them. I want them to know that dreams DO come true! But, the struggle is real and you have to work hard. The world isn’t handed to you on a silver spoon...With that being said, Monroe is my oldest’s middle and 26 is my little’s birthdate! So, even though “we” (I have been the LUCKIEST lady! I have and had the best employees!) built TPPD for 5 years...M26 “fits” us, as a family business better. Have you poked your head in?!? Our store in Raleigh is PACKED with everything you used to LOVE about TPPD! We didn’t leave, we just transformed! Did you know we now have a website too??? www.shopmonroe26.com is full of ship-able goodies!! Did you also know we started a in house brand Urban Upcycled Threads that is carried in over 100 Store across the US?!? Well, come on! Come visit! We consider our customers as friends!
