Last week, we talked about some of the high-end names you’ll find here at the Gallery and why quality craftsmanship really does make a difference. This week, we’re continuing that conversation with a few pieces that are wonderful examples of quality in very different styles.

One of this week’s favorites is a contemporary Stickley sofa—a bit of a departure from the traditional and Mission-style Stickley pieces we’re more accustomed to seeing. Its clean lines, tufted back, and nailhead trim give it a timeless look, and the quality is something you can feel the moment you sit down.

We’re also featuring a classic customer favorite: the Rice Carved poster bed. This week’s is a Queen-size bed by Lexington, with the beautiful carved details and traditional silhouette that have made this style such an enduring favorite.

For the dining room, we have a beautiful set of Chippendale dining chairs that could complement so many different tables and interiors. We also have another La Barge mirror that would look stunning above a sideboard.

Different styles and different eras, but all pieces that demonstrate why good design and quality craftsmanship continue to stand out.

There’s something special about a piece of furniture that has already stood the test of time. When it’s well made, beautifully designed, and built by a name you know, it doesn’t really matter whether it’s brand new—it just gets better with age.

That’s a big part of what we love about what we do at Raleigh Furniture Gallery. Quality, name-brand furniture has always been a bit of our bread and butter. We’re constantly on the lookout for pieces from makers like Baker, Henkel Harris, LaBarge, and Drexel—furniture that was made to last and still has plenty of life (and style!) left in it.

This week’s featured pieces are a perfect example. We have a beautifully flamed mahogany Baker king-size bed, a classic Henkel Harris bedroom suite with a full-size bed, a stunning LaBarge classical mirror, and a beautiful Drexel console table.

These are the kinds of pieces we love seeing come through our doors: familiar names, timeless designs, and quality you can feel. And perhaps the best part? You get to bring them home at a fraction of what comparable quality furniture can cost new.

Well-made furniture doesn’t have to be brand new to be worth having. Sometimes, the best pieces have already had a life—and are ready for the next one.

September is just around the corner, school is officially back in session for most, and summer is showing no signs of cooling off just yet! While we may not be quite ready for fall weather, there’s always something new happening around the gallery.

This week’s mix is a little bit of everything—and honestly, that’s one of our favorite things about the gallery. We have a couple of beautiful oil paintings, two Ethan Allen ottomans in a pretty gray fabric with contrasting white cording that gives them a wonderfully custom look, a few handsome dressers, and another desk (which have been surprisingly popular lately!). We also have a 10-foot-long runner that would make quite a statement in a long hallway, entryway, or anywhere that could use a little extra length and pattern.

There’s something about this time of year that makes us want to get organized and settled back into a routine, so perhaps that explains all the interest in desks lately. Whether you’re looking for a spot to tackle a little work, a beautiful piece of art to finish off a room, or simply something that catches your eye, there’s a good chance you’ll find it here.

No particular theme this week—just lots of good things to browse. And as always, you never quite know what you’ll find when you stop in!

Dining sets have been flying out the doors lately, so we’ve been doing our best to keep up with the demand! Luckily, we have quite a few beautiful options in the gallery right now, and this week we’re featuring a few of our favorite new arrivals.

We have another Henkel Harris dining set, a beautiful Drexel table, and Hickory Chair dining chairs. Whether you’re looking for something traditional, something a little more unique, or simply trying to find the right set for your space, we have several great options available at different price points.

And, of course, it’s not all dining furniture this week!

We’re also featuring one of our favorite rugs currently in the gallery, and honestly…the colors are simply divine. It has plenty of color and personality, but the tones are just right so it doesn’t feel loud or overwhelming. It’s one of those rugs that can really pull a room together without taking over.

We also have a pair of antique corner cabinets that are pretty special. They’re lighted, have beautiful wavy glass, and having two of these rare cabinets together is such a treat. We can picture them in so many different rooms, but we especially love the idea of using them in a dining room to show off your favorite china, glassware, or collected pieces.

We’re excited to announce that we just went through the entire gallery — both in-store and online — and gave everything a fresh look with markdowns!

If there’s been an item you’ve had your eye on, now is definitely the time to take another look. You may be pleasantly surprised to see that the piece you’ve been thinking about has a brand-new price!

We’ve pulled together a selection of some of our very best deals to give you a head start. There are some incredible pieces included, as well as a few that we simply can’t believe are still here. From furniture we’ve loved from the moment it arrived to those special pieces that seem to have just been waiting for the right person to find them, there are some really good opportunities in this round of markdowns.

One of the things we love most about the gallery is that every piece that comes through our doors brings something special with it. This week’s arrivals are a perfect example — beautiful craftsmanship, rich textures, and unique details that add warmth and personality to a home.

A true standout is this early 1900s bedroom set crafted from incredibly beautiful burled walnut. The natural movement and depth of the wood grain are absolutely stunning, showcasing the kind of craftsmanship and attention to detail that makes antique furniture so special. Elegant yet inviting, this is the type of bedroom set that feels like it was made to be enjoyed for generations.

We also just welcomed in an 8x10 Capel rug with a striking black and gold design. A great rug has the ability to completely transform a room, and this one instantly brings warmth, sophistication, and a sense of grounding to a space. Whether layered into a traditional home or paired with more modern pieces, it adds the perfect finishing touch.

Before we jump into this week's new arrivals, we wanted to share a quick update to our showroom hours. Beginning this week, the gallery will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We will now be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Now for the fun part...

This week's new arrivals have been finding their places around the gallery, and several of our favorite pieces have come together in beautifully styled vignettes that greet you as soon as you walk through the door. There's something especially satisfying about seeing furniture that feels like it truly belongs together, making it easy to imagine the pieces in your own home.

The first vignette you'll see features a gorgeous Ethan Allen British Classics dining set paired with its matching sideboard. This set checks all the boxes—it includes two leaves, custom table pads stored in their convenient carrying bag, and is in fantastic condition throughout. We've styled it with a pair of Ethan Allen accent chairs at the heads of the table, and together they create a timeless dining space that's ready to enjoy.

One of our favorite things about sourcing for the gallery is that no two weeks ever look the same. This week's new arrivals are a perfect example—whether your style leans antique, mid-century, or somewhere in between, there's something that just might surprise you.

One of the first pieces to catch your eye is a pair of incredible orange mid-century modern lounge chairs with matching ottomans. The vibrant leather paired with polished chrome bases adds such a fun burst of color to the gallery. We love our traditional wood furniture, but it's always exciting when something this bold comes through the door. They're even more striking in person.

At the other end of the style spectrum is a beautifully detailed round dining table featuring a carved acanthus leaf motif and pedestal base. With five leaves, it transforms from a cozy 54-inch round table into an impressive 119-inch oval—ready to accommodate everything from everyday dinners to holiday gatherings.

We're also excited to showcase a pair of brand new Hancock & Moore sofas. While we're accustomed to seeing the company's iconic tufted leather wingback chairs, these upholstered sofas were a welcome surprise. Wrapped in luxurious Thibaut performance fabric and finished with elegant brass-capped feet, they offer the exceptional craftsmanship Hancock & Moore is known for in a fresh, sophisticated design.

It's certainly been a rainy week here in the Triangle, but if you're looking for a peaceful way to spend an afternoon, we'd love to welcome you into the gallery. One of our favorite new arrivals this week is an original painting of a pointer hunting dog by a Women Artists of the West (WAOW) artist. Founded in 1970, Women Artists of the West is an organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the traditions of Western art while providing a supportive community for women working in the genre. Membership is by invitation or juried acceptance, making works by WAOW artists especially desirable among collectors of Western, wildlife, and sporting art. Discovering that connection during our research made this piece an even more exciting find, and we're thrilled to share it with you.

If you've been searching for a beautiful bed, now is a great time to keep an eye on our new arrivals. We brought in three poster beds just this past week, with several more waiting to make their way onto the showroom floor. Whether you're looking for a classic four-poster or another timeless bedroom piece, we expect to have an excellent selection in the coming weeks.

We've also welcomed several beautiful area rugs that offer a refreshing change of pace. With lighter color palettes and simpler motifs, they're a wonderful alternative to some of the darker or more intricate patterns we've featured in the past. They bring a fresh, versatile look that works beautifully in a variety of homes and styles.
