Hi, this is me...👋🏽

I'm Darcie Garcia Aifd. The woman behind The Florapist.

If you've been here for a while, you probably know I love flowers. But what you may not know is that I don't just arrange them, I use them to help people celebrate, connect, heal, and sometimes just breathe for a little while.

Flowers have carried me through some of the happiest moments of my life...and through the hardest. They became part of my own healing after tragedy, that changed everything about the way I design and the way I love people.

I'm a Bronx girl living in Raleigh, a proud AIFD(American institute of Floral Designers) designer, teacher, speaker, coffee drinker, Biscuit's mama, ChaCha X2,and someone who will happily sit across from you and have a real conversation.

Good Grief: Memories in Florals & Print was created for anyone who wants to honor a person, a memory, or a chapter of life that continues to shape them.

Together with botanical artist Ana Carolina Hurant Ana Carolina Hurant, you'll create a garden-inspired floral design and a one-of-a-kind cyanotype print using botanicals and, or a treasured photograph. If you don't have a photo, beautiful botanicals will be provided. 🌿
