Carpet in a restaurant dining room holds onto everything.
Grease works into the fibers. Chair legs chew through the backing. No amount of cleaning brings it back, and eventually you are looking at a worn hole next to a booth in the middle of a full dining room.
This pizza restaurant in Mebane had years of it. Here is what we did:
Pulled the carpet and pad
Ground off decades of old adhesive
Filled the control joints and repaired cracks
Progressive diamond grind up to a 400 grit polish
Same slab that was already under the carpet. No new material added on top. It sweeps clean, spills sit on the surface instead of soaking in, and there is nothing left for grease to work into.
We run dust collection the whole way through, so the rest of the building keeps operating while we work. Minimal downtime.
Commercial concrete polishing and coatings for restaurants, retail and warehouse spaces across the Triangle and surrounding areas.
