18 years ago TODAY, I was crazy enough to quit a good-paying job (sorry, Mom and Dad) and open up a stationery store in downtown Cary. A lot has happened since 2008 - getting married, went back to work full-time, wedding shows, a couple of moves to different locations, countless employees, a lot of mistakes, COVID, the 2008 economic crash, tons of new friends and customers, pop-up shops, retail and money classes, tons of networking events, travels to markets in ATL and the stationery show in NYC, holiday parties and open houses in the shop, managing interns, pivot to a studio to wedding appointments only (where we are today), losing my sweet Tiki, getting older (and gaining and losing weight), discovering me in all my forms, and as my former employee, Courtney, used to say - All the things!!!!

I am grateful for the opportunity to be an entrepreneur in all of the forms. And I am grateful for all of y’all who have shared this sweet journey with me! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! 🌸
