Well as most of you know as of the first of the year we moved to Texas to be closer to our son and grandchildren and there mother. When we started the process and f moving we hired a company by the name of Landmark Movers out of Florida. The salesman Brandon told us that they had a truck located in Escondido. On the day we had set up and the amount of $6570 a different company by the name of United Movers showed up at Ramona of course 4 hours late. When they arrived at our house they informed us that it would now cost us $14 K plus. After loading stuff the next day they showed up again 4 hours late and after again loading things they told us that it would now cost close to $19k. After talking to there owner Ayal he told me if we wanted out belonging’s back it would cost us 20K. I informed him that what he was doing was criminal. He didn’t care and since they had our belonging’s they were smug. After several months of trying to find out where our items were they now are threatening to sell everything at auction on 4/1/2021. We have tried contacting DOT but with not much help. I want people to be aware of companies like this. They are nothing but criminals. Be careful. Not sure what’s going to happen.

Heads up California!!

He Did it!! AG Becerra got the major property tax increase on the ballot. Your property tax increases are on the launch pad. California politicians are trying to repeal prop 13 by slipping it under the radar. California's Attorney General, Xavier Becerra is putting together plans to raise property tax revenue by eliminating the only thing keeping some peoples property tax from sky rocketing. prop 13. They know it will be unpopular if presented as , "repeal prop 13" Xavier Becerra has labeled it "Educational and Local government Funding". It'as already on the 2020 ballot and like the gasoline tax, it will be worded in a way that misleads California voters
Vote NO on Educational and local government funding!!!!!!!
All of my California friends & family copy & re post this and send it to everyone that you know as it must be defeated!!!!
A lot of your parents & Grandparents are using Prop 13 to stay afloat and they won't be able to pay their property tax if it PASSES AND WILL LOOSE THEIR HOMES.

The last few years have taught me that when it is our time to leave this body no one can stop it. We have one life to live. The material things we invest in are left behind only to be discarded.
