At Ventana we are a tight-knit group of bike enthusiasts who meticulously build the highest quality aluminum mountain bike frames money can buy and have been doing so since 1988. From design, to raw tubes, to welding, to heat treating, to powder coating, to final assembly we do it all in our shop in Rancho Cordova, California. Rene’s new Grizzly arrived in Switzerland this morning and is being assembled for its maiden voyage. It is a semi-custom 17/14” tandem with cable stops added for a rear derailleur and captain dropper post.
We can’t wait to get their first ride report.

Grizzly tandem update. We've had a few challenges in getting the new Grizzly frames built, such as material availability, machine parts delays, and out-of-stock shocks, not to mention making all new tooling, jigs, heat treat hardware, and alignment tools, since the new tandem does not share any parts from El Conquistador, but things are finally coming together. The front triangles are ready for welding and heat treatment. The rear assemblies are awaiting the final machine parts so we can finish mitering the stays to get everything welded. Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered a Grizzly tandem. We appreciate your patience while we finish building them.
