The Veterans team rifle was built using donated parts from different
suppliers. The action is a Barnard from M.T. Guns, the barrel is a Brux308 in 13 twist and medium Palma contour, 3 way adjustable buttplate from
McGee Competition with the California Claro walnut stock being furnished
by Clowdis Precison. The rifle was raffled off by the Veterans team to
raise funds for travel to the 2011 International matches in Brisbane,
Australia.

This rifle was built using a Defiance stainless steel action, Lilja 3
groove 12 twist barrel and a Jewel trigger. The stock was made completely
by hand from a select piece of English walnut. All of the stainless steel
hardware was made by hand including the quarter rib with rear flip up
sight, scope bases, front sight base and the 2 piece buttplate. The wood
finish is African Express oil and the metal is finished with a baking soda
blast.

This beautiful rifle was built for a client who is heading to Africa for a
Cape Buffalo hunt. I made it using a magnum action from Montana Rifle
Company, a Douglas XX barrel in #3 contour, and the stock made from a
premium piece of Turkish walnut. The stock was finished with Permalym
gunstock finish which is an oil modified polyurethane and hand rubbed to a
soft luster. The scope bases and rings are Talleys and the front and rear
sights are from New England Custom Guns.
