I had a really great turnout at the store liquidation sale this week, especially the last couple of days. I wanted to take a moment to thank every single person that took time to come and explore, and chose to purchase my treasures to bring home.

This economy has made it so hard, for many people, including small business owners. Folks are limiting their spending, understandably, so “wants” are often passed on so “needs” can be purchased. I completely understand.

All of you who purchased from my shop help me be able to continue to keep my doors open and my treasures circulating throughout the local community. It’s been a stressful, less busy summer, and I really needed a decent day or two.

You all pulled through for me, in so many different ways.

Thank you, truly, for that.

Today it was Miss Mollys turn. And I could cry, because so many people, both new to me and from my village, have come out the last two days to help me liquidate inventory and make space. They all could go shop anywhere, and they CHOSE to come spend their hard earned money here in my small store.

Poor Helen has been buried and covered by other pieces for months, but a close friend has had an eye on her for a while, so we decided to make a deal on her today! She’ll be going home in the next week or two, where I can visit her whenever I’d like, and I am absolutely TICKLED.
