It was a beautiful day yesterday at Big Bass Lake’s first farmer’s market of the season ☀️ We had a lovely time meeting other vendors, chatting with organizers, and enjoying the sunshine. Our favorite part was getting to talk all about the plants and seeds we brought with us with attendees. We love sharing our passion with others!

A garden doesn’t have to be all native or all ornamental to be beautiful and beneficial.

These beardtongues in our garden are a perfect example.. native hairy beardtongue mingling with showy beardtongue, creating layers of color and texture. The pollinators certainly don’t seem to mind the partnership.

Sometimes the most magical gardens are the ones that embrace both. 💜🐝

Approximately 50 went out, and we’ve already begun to collect orders for the next ship day.
We appreciate each and every purchase, and are so thrilled to know that our Pennsylvania raised plants are going off to live in their new homes across the country all the way from Massachusetts to California!

Not only does this Greek Oregano smell and taste SO good, but it looks good! I love to put these in seasonal flower baskets and boxes, as they fill in so nicely, and keep their beautiful color through the fall while pulling double duty as an edible! Bonus.. they’ll come back again for several years! 🌱
