I am quite pleased with this wrap skirt I made for my niece from my mother's rayon satin wedding dress. My niece's mother (my sister) also wore the dress for her wedding. Now Maddy Kuhn can wear it for her rehearsal dinner and much more 🥰. I didn't have a pattern - just a similar skirt I copied. I learned how to make French seams, baby hems, and how to deal with slippery satin (very carefully!).

Finally finished framing this series of pieces I made this winter. Weaving with paper and found items. The lakes are from an old county map. Turkey feather, birch bark, and pheasant feather in the brown ones. Really enjoyed making these. Message me if you're interested in one before they land in local galleries in early summer. 6" x 8" and 8" x 10".

Finished a new batch of earrings for the annual TAAG Arts and Crafts Market. Handmade paper beads and semi-precious stones. Saturday November 22 9 to 3 at the Helena Township Community Center in Alden.
