Thank you Phillip!!! Once again you showed up for me. Met some great people. Found a bunch of books new homes and I have to restock my historical fiction shelf….AGAIN. 🥰

Final review: as much as I love TJR, this one just wasn’t my favorite. I do appreciate the overall focus of the book and the challenges of the particular love story, but…..it was just too slow. Very full of fluff for me. Some characters, you wanted a little more of and some were over dramatized. I didn’t hate it, I’ll still read more from TJR in the future.
That said, this one will not be staying on my shelf so it’s up for grabs. Hardcover $10 (bookmark not included)

Just finished up this delightful, sad, heartwarming, and more applicable to my own life than I like to admit…read. I loved it, I felt it, and I realized I need to take advice from Clover and live a little more.
