How timely! We have fresh, locally grown paw paws in the shop now if you’re looking to celebrate Paw Paw Day!

Today is one of our favorite days of the year...National Pawpaw Day!

The pawpaw was adopted as Ohio's native fruit in 2009 and is the only edible fruit native to Ohio. While it may look like a tropical fruit, pawpaws grow naturally in the forests of Ohio, often along riverbanks and in shady, moist areas. Their soft, custard-like fruit has a unique tropical flavor that's often compared to a mix of banana and mango 🥭
