We will be closed today. Monday 7/27/2026. We will be out catching up on jobs today and fixing equipment that broke over the weekend. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you but being a small business sometimes these things tend to happen and you have to make hard decisions to make things right in the end. 🧅 Bulb onions are usually ready when about half to most of the tops have naturally bent over and begun turning yellow or brown. Do not force the leaves down—let the plant finish on its own.

☀️ Harvest on a dry day. Loosen the soil with a fork and lift the bulbs gently rather than pulling hard on the tops.

🌬️ Cure the onions in a dry, shaded, well-ventilated place for about 1–3 weeks. Spread them in a single layer and protect them from rain and strong direct sunlight.

✂️ When the necks are completely dry and the outer skins feel papery, trim the roots and tops. Store only firm, undamaged bulbs in a cool, dry and airy place.

🌱 Green onions and sweet onions are different—they can be harvested earlier and usually do not store as long as mature storage onions.

Due to the air quality in the hazardous stage we will be closing today and possibly tomorrow. We appreciate all of you but there is no need to be out in this and getting sick over it. Be safe and we will keep you informed of our status about tomorrow
