This month for our Committed to the Community Campaign, in partnership with Grasshopper Mowers, we donated $500 to the Steeleville Police Department for their Christmas gift fund for kids! We hope to do another donation to them later this year! The police Department currently participates in the Shop with a Cop program and hopes to do much more for the community in the coming months/years! Thank you to Grasshopper Mowers for supporting Coleman Lawn and Thank you to Steeleville Police Department for supporting out community!

Tere's the thing nobody tells new business owners. The mower isn't the bill. The mower's the tool that pays the bill. Financing a Grasshopper through Sheffield is around $283 a month with current rates. That's less than most folks' phone plan. For a brand new commercial machine that pays itself back in saved hours and added services.

If you're starting a lawn crew, this is how it usually goes: finance the machine, run a tight route, the route pays the payment, and by year two you're free and clear with capital equipment that's still got 15 plus years of work in it.

Eric's father started working with Grasshopper mowers years before Benning Distributing was even an official distributor. Eric grew up around these machines. He learned them the way you learn anything that's been in your family. Then he carried it forward, building Benning into the official Grasshopper distributor for central Illinois and the St Louis metro. Nobody knows these mowers better. Eric runs the trainings, knows every dealer in the network by name, and still answers the phone himself most days. That's not a sales pitch. That's just how this place runs.
