🛏️ Cold-weather comfort starts underneath you, not with one more blanket tossed over the top. Pairing your mattress with an insulated pad helps slow heat loss before you add more layers.

Add flannel or breathable sheets, then layer wool or fleece beneath a lofty down or synthetic comforter. Purposeful layers hold warmth around you and reduce the need to keep your heater running constantly.

Moisture matters too, especially inside the smaller space of a camper or rooftop tent. 🌬️ Ventilate overnight when conditions allow, even if it seems strange... VENT the window just a tiny bit with your furnace running. If possible, air out your bedding each morning to keep every layer dry.
