To the Cumoratek Family:
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Cumoratek AV Solutions on October 2, 2026. For almost a decade, our family-owned & operated company has taken pride in serving the Kansas City community and providing affordable Audio/Visual and IT services for organizations of all sizes. Our core value of client advocacy has been at the center of our mission from Day 1 and has led us to work with clients all around the Midwest, including Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois.
Due to shifting market conditions and the necessity to protect our family’s future (eg: health insurance, retirement, etc.), we have made the difficult decision to cease operations effective October 2, 2026. This decision does not come lightly, and we will deeply miss the relationships we have developed with our clients over the past decade.
A few notes on logistics:
1) All existing clients received an email earlier this morning announcing this closure and explaining next steps.
2) We will work with all active clients to transition them to one of our trusted industry partners for ongoing service and support. IT clients will be transitioned to ITEK Computer Services. AV clients will be transitioned to Progressive Electronics. Both of these companies are family-owned and operated and have strong reputations for excellence and customer service.
3) All outstanding Cumoratek warranties will continue to be honored through the remainder of their duration. While we are ceasing operations, no client warranties will be abandoned.
4) We will continue taking orders for products until October 2, 2026. All outstanding orders on October 2, 2026 will be processed in the order they were received.
We are deeply appreciative of each of the organizations who have trusted Cumoratek over the years and we wish you all the best on your journey!
