Two former Royal Music employees passed away recently.

Lenny Donofrio was a founding member joining Royal Music on Day One.

Maria Bruno "Miss Maria" followed a year or two later.
Both were well loved by the students and are sorely missed.

Nearly New Yamaha Clavinova Baby Grand

An elderly Church organist and long-time customer of our store thought he’d like a baby grand. He purchased this Yamaha CLP-765GP from another music store. Because he lived over 100 miles from that dealer he ordered it without playing it.

Long story short … after a couple of days the customer decided he didn’t want this marvelous instrument. The dealer he bought it from wouldn’t take a return, so he traded it in to our store for an organ.

This piano was in his home for 8 days. Technically it is previously owned, but it is as new as you’ll ever find. (The bench is still in the box.) The plastic is still on the pedals. Purchased new for $6k we are offering it for $4700.

We lost a good one this week. Joe Genna passed.

Joe was a Royal Music institution. His zest for life and love of music was evident to all who knew him. He always smiling, he quickly turned strangers into friends and was always offering help to anyone’s musical challenges. He became expert in most of the instruments featured in our showroom.

While there are a ton of photos from Royal Music it was a challenge finding some of Joe. Usually he was the one taking the photos.

Memorial service: Saturday January 28th from 2:30 – 5:00
