Good morning! Still working on a pop up opening as soon as I can. I think God has been nudging me to slow it down a bit…. And I will
Listen… but I’m anxious to get to do some pop up openings … Fall is my most favorite season of all… and I’d like to open and share some of my Fall decor I’ve been working on with you.
However…. I was hospitalized last week with pulmonary emboli (multiple clots in my lungs, not just one) and back to the ER yesterday… pneumonia on top of it…. Ok God, I’ll listen and not push too hard… but I am so anxious to be healthy and back to my life…
Sometimes I push myself too hard… it’s a hard habit to break….

So this post today isn’t too depressing… I am healing, just need to
learn to slow down. And my Grandson Gavin Mason, is a trooper in his brain cancer treatments… we have named ourselves super hero’s (well auntie did) but we came up with our names….Super Smart Super Dude, (he says not so smart super dude…. Which I changed to Super Smart Super Dude) and he named me Grandmas Cookies Superhero

This is my grandson Gavin “Mason” … please read, share, follow, spread the word, anything you can- Lend a Hand Up is an awesome way to help out Mason and his Family. This is an awful
thing for anyone to go through, let alone an 11 year old sports loving, funny, kind and all around awesome kid like Mason. His family, and extended family are so grateful for all the love and support they/we have received… and we always Welcome prayers!

In late May, 11-year-old Gavin Mason (or Mason, as some may call him) began having severe headaches that were initially thought to be migraines. His mom, Sara, took him to the Crookston ER, where scans revealed a 1.9 cm mass on his pineal gland. Mason was transported to Fargo, and from that moment on, life changed for their family.
After two biopsies, Mason's family received the news no parent ever wants to hear: Stage 4 Pineoblastoma. On August 12th, he underwent a craniotomy and is now recovering before beginning radiation and chemotherapy.

Over time, newborns and babies have become the heart of my work. The tiny details, the in-between moments, the first year that somehow feels both slow and impossibly fast, it all deserves its own space.
While Ward Studio will still continue to share all kinds of sessions, we wanted a place dedicated specifically to growing families, baby milestones, and the moments that make up the very beginning of your story.
Documenting the early days has become such a meaningful part of Ward Studio, and I’m excited to share more of that here 🤍

Wow what a beautiful day today! Hello! Long time, no communication!…. Sorry about my absence. My immunotherapy treatments have been harder than expected. Just wanted to pop in to let you know I’m still planning on opening up the shoppe in the near future. Slow but sure I’m able to get out there and work on a few projects, set ups, etc. While my plans to introduce new ideas…. That’s still coming… pieces at a time though. I have all these ideas I want to incorporate, however I quickly discovered that “getting back to my normal life” is not the normal I had expected. Please be patient with me as I work towards getting the shoppe opened, new ideas are coming gradually, so expect some furniture, as before, candles as before….but with subtle changes I thing you will enjoy, great treasure finds, a surprise maybe here and there…. Don’t want to share all my plans just yet. There will be some
decorating ideas though! Pictured are a few things “close up” …different textiles….might be surprised when you see them in person.
