Well hello!
I spent a couple days watching two of my grandpups this week- Rupert (aka Eeyore) and Ellie (Eleanor)- here we are headed back home from Grandma’s. Lol - the three of us make my little car look like a clown car!
I’ve also been very fortunate this winter to take in the Grandkids hockey and basketball games, dance shows, etc.
We are also planning for a son’s summer wedding.
And i still take the time to sneak in a few naps here and there.
You all know how busy life gets.
Spring has got to be on the way soon! Warm days, cold days, rain, snow…. Spring is trying to shine through!!
Up North Mercantile will be reopening in the Spring of 2026.
Chemo Season is over! I’m still doing immunotherapy infusions for a little bit still, and for some reason the last few have been dragging me down, hence slowing down my progress in the shoppe.
I have good days and bad days still. But slowly getting my energy and enthusiasm back. I still tire easily, so just not ready to re-open quite yet. On my good days though, I’m in the shoppe creating and planning. It will be nice to get back to a more stable schedule for the shoppe, different hours/days than previously, so stay tuned.
We will still be offering some refurbished and repurposed furniture pieces, but will also have focuses on some fresh new ideas, decor tips and ideas, gift giving ideas as well. I’m anxious to share more - oh the ideas.
I’m wanting to reopen with a new lease on life…surviving cancer has given me a little bit different outlook on life- but I do know that one of my purposes to be on this earth, is to still create and share decor ideas… Can’t wait to get everything in order for our reopening!
