We took a gamble and jumped in the flatbed for our next adventure. Desiree gets all the credit on this one. Instead of looking at the bad she seen with her keen eye a few drawers that looked odd. The listing was old a few months to be truthful. So if it's anything good it's probably gone. So we drove 2.5 hours into the Poconos. Drove up a long gravel drive to a strangers house. Then we were informed we had to put it in 4x4 and ease around the house to the back. We loaded a pile of lumber onto the truck. 30 plus drawers,doors,boards,trim all kinds of pieces. Guy had it listed as a dresser...4 ft high 12ft long.

We were happy as kids at a candy factory on the way home. We cleared the garage to put the puzzle together. What is it....a bar a dresser maybe a store counter....a map case..what.
After 2 hours and the help of a few neighbors we stood in aw after putting the last pieces in place. It's no dresser....not a map case...it's a.............sacristy credens cabinet 31 drawers,hidden shelves,doors ect ect..measuring in at a massive 13ft wide 3.8 deep 8ft high with religious emblems throughout. Some of the finest oak I've seen...hidden under a porch in pieces covered by a tarp.

This will be a top project of a lifetime.
Can't post pics of it together yet we are keeping this one under wraps.

We had a amazing time in lancaster city Friday and Saturday. We got to pick a barn filled to the brim with lancaster architecture. From store counters and shelving from Reilly bros & Raub hardware store. Trims and windows from the Swan hotel. The barn owner was 89 and ready to retire. Out of the 30 messages he luckily picked ours. He later said there were 50 more people wanting to look and buy. Fortunately we left only dust behind and a empty wallet. As far as architecture trims moldings chestnut shelving the list goes on and on I'm truly thankful. This is a top 3 hoard and will fill voids for years and years. We had the ford and the 14ft dump trailer literally maxed well....way over maxed.

More pics to come it's gonna take all winter to process the lumber.
