This is your LAST WEEK to shop before I close the shop. I do not have a planned reopening date, nor do I have any other in-person events planned.

I will be sticking around on my account sharing my creativity and more personal things. I have a wedding to plan! 💗 And I need to focus my energy on other things for now.

I truly appreciate the support I’ve gotten for Barely Scary. Again, I will still be here, but if/when I come back with creative things, they will be different.

As much as I love pins, I don’t think they get as much respect as they deserve. Every pin I have made is MY OWN ARTWORK. I do not just buy pre-made designs to resell. I don’t trace artwork. I don’t use AI. Each pin is my drawing, my design, my color choice, my size and color specifications. I’m so glad I have been able to make my ideas into reality, and that others like YOU have enjoyed them.

2024 has been a difficult year with the loss of pets and personal issues. I’m ready for the next chapter— focusing on my future.

I really hope you snag all the pins, stickers, keychains, lanyards, totes, & t-shirts that you want before the shop closes!!

BACKERS!! Most of your packages have been sent out. I just have a few of the larger orders that need to be sent out in boxes left to go. 🫶

Fun fact, I’m reusing boxes and shipping materials to send them out to reduce waste. ♻️💜 For smaller orders, I use recycled & compostable paper mailers!

October is black cat awareness month! 🐈‍⬛ Common myths about them being "bad luck" or being "evil" leads to an increase in abuse towards black cats around Halloween. 💔

Having grown up with a black cat named Mysti and having Coal (last 2 slides) the last few years, I can say they've been the sweetest and cuddliest cats I've ever known!!

I made this pin before I adopted Coal, but you know I had to get him a red collar to match. He died of cancer a few months ago at only 2 years old. I had always wanted to take a picture of him with this pin, but I missed my chance. I miss him so much.
