We’re looking forward to being out in the community volunteering for the Redding Roots Revival Music Festival on Friday, volunteering/attending the Girls Inc. Gala on Saturday, and attending the Asphalt Cowboys Community BBQ on Sunday!

We’re so grateful to be part of so many incredible events happening right here in Redding and to support the community we’re proud to serve. 💙

This week, we’re excited to introduce you to Kiara Nichols, our Office Manager!

Kiara earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, and has a professional background in both office administration and scientific research.

As our Office Manager, Kiara wears many hats! In addition to helping keep our team connected and supported, she plays a huge role in UpState’s marketing, community outreach, networking, and volunteer efforts throughout Northern California. You’ll often find her representing UpState at community events, building relationships with local organizations and businesses, and finding new ways for our team to give back to the communities we serve. Kiara is also proud to serve on the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee that is near and dear to us.

Outside of UpState, Kiara is a proud mom to her young son and the second oldest of seven siblings. She loves crafting, organizing, and spending time with her family.

We’re so thankful to have Kiara as part of the UpState family! 💙

Teresa joined UpState Hearing Instruments in June 2025 after spending 18 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her caring nature and dedication to helping others have translated perfectly into hearing healthcare.

She loves making life a little easier for our patients and strives to provide exceptional care with a smile every day.

Outside of work, Teresa enjoys gardening, being on the water, and adventuring with her husband, Reg, and their three-legged chihuahua, Francine. 🐾
