Customize a T-shirt in your school colors! Grab a T-shirt, a template or large sticker and fabric paint...Let's Go! Cover
your work area. Lay paper towels in the neckline to protect the back of the shirt from paint. Mix fabric paint and water 50/50 in spray bottles. Adjust portions as necessary. *Pro tip: shake bottles side to side to avoid thick paint in the dip tube. Place template in desired location. Start with the lightest color. Shake bottle and spray, holding about 8 inches above shirt. Spray a light coat. With a craft or hair dryer (low setting) dry paint. Layer coats of paint until desired color is achieved, drying between layers. Continue spraying with the next color following the same process. Splatter paint to give final speckled texture effect. Dry before removing template. Recommended: follow paint manufacturer instructions to heat set with an iron on medium-high heat using paper towels/press cloth or tumble in dryer on high.
