The variegation is simply stunning.
Monstera Albo Borsigiana is a fast-growing, smaller-form climbing plant, typically reaching 6-10 feet tall indoors with proper support. Leaves usually mature to 12–15 inches in diameter, though they can grow larger. It features longer internodes and smaller leaves compared to the larger-form.
Compared to the larger Monstera deliciosa albo variegata, the Borsigiana variety is more manageable for indoor spaces and has a more vining, “stretchy” growth habit.
Watering: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. These plants are sensitive to overwatering, which causes root rot, so ensure the pot has drainage holes.
Soil: Use a chunky, airy, well-draining aroid mix, often made with potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite.
Humidity & Temp: Thrives in temperatures between 65–85°F (18–29°C) and high humidity, ideally above 60%.
Care tips: They are prone to brown white sections, making consistent moisture management essential. Adding liquid silica to the watering routine helps strengthen cell walls, preventing browning and enhancing plant resilience.
