The variegation is simply stunning.

Monstera Albo Borsigiana is a fast-growing, smaller-form climbing plant, typically reaching 6-10 feet tall indoors with proper support. Leaves usually mature to 12–15 inches in diameter, though they can grow larger. It features longer internodes and smaller leaves compared to the larger-form.

Compared to the larger Monstera deliciosa albo variegata, the Borsigiana variety is more manageable for indoor spaces and has a more vining, “stretchy” growth habit.

Watering: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. These plants are sensitive to overwatering, which causes root rot, so ensure the pot has drainage holes.

Soil: Use a chunky, airy, well-draining aroid mix, often made with potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite.

Humidity & Temp: Thrives in temperatures between 65–85°F (18–29°C) and high humidity, ideally above 60%.

Care tips: They are prone to brown white sections, making consistent moisture management essential. Adding liquid silica to the watering routine helps strengthen cell walls, preventing browning and enhancing plant resilience.

Was putting together a little housewarming gift for some friends today and I’m loving this plant & planter combo.

An easy and beautiful variegated philodendron, paired with one of my favorite minimalist pots from 🤌🏼!
I love that these pots never compete with the plant. They simply complement it.

This is who inspired my love of plants.

While she is no longer here with us today, the things she nurtured still are. She taught me how to care for plants long before I ever imagined I’d be sharing them with all of you.

Happy International Women’s Day to the women who plant seeds in us that continue to grow long after they’re gone. To the women who inspire us and the women who shape us to who we are today. 💕
