Opening day is here, and we're so happy to see so many familiar faces and lots of new friends!

Trains are running, hay ride is rumbling along. Pumpkins are out ready for new homes. Corn is corny.

If you feel like tagging us in your adventure photos, we wouldn't mind it one bit, we love seeing everyone's different version of their Hillcrest experience.

PUMPKIN PATCH MAP

Some of you had asked for a map. With constant expansion and construction here, a professional grade map wasn't really feasible at the moment.

Our engineer who reads and responds to most of the Instagram and Facebook stuff put their talents and what is clearly extensive graphic design knowledge to work making a map that shows important features around the property.

Is it beautiful? YES.
Is it professional? TECHNICALLY
Is it accurate? MOSTLY.
Is it helpful? WE SURE HOPE SO!

No frills post. Tickets for Pajama Night events go on sale at 9AM today, October 1st. Ages 2 and older need tickets to participate.

Follow the link on our page to the 3rd party ticket processing service - FareHarbor- to purchase tickets. If you get put into a queue, do not leave the queue or refresh your page or anything. Make sure you have confirmation before you log out. We can't handwave whoopsies with this system as it isn't our own system.

We have modified the webpage so the link is right there as a button. Our previously advertised URLs will get you there.

Two posts in one day? Yeah, we may be losing it a little bit here. Pajama Night tickets go on sale 9AM October 1st, tomorrow. Get the tickets, do the thing.

If you want to enjoy one of our highly anticipated Pajama Night events, please take a moment to follow the link from our website. It should take you to a "FareHarbor" page where we will be having our Pajama Night tickets processed. Bookmark or save that page so that you arent having to funnel through our website in a hurry.

Why should you bookmark and be ready? The nights are each capped attendance, and they always sell out. Even with previous year's technical issues, the weekends usually sell out by lunchtime on launch day. It is best to be ready and prepared!

Only three more sleeps until Pumpkin Patch!!!

Station updates - asphalt is in, as are the new fences, handicap ramps, gates, and lights poles. It may not seem like a lot, but having the paths for guests at the same height as the top of the railroad rails makes a huge difference in how easy it is to get in or out of the train cars.

This weekend was the last "free weekend" until next year. We occupied that time with staff meetings and training for farm and railroad crews.

The changes that will benefit the public are also changes for all of us, so the training was well needed! Many of the adjustments are sure to make your Hillcrest experience better, and will help our team to function efficiently and smoothly.

There's 4 days until we open for Pumpkin Patch, so if you have any questions that need answering, leave a comment or message now! Once we open up, you might get a response at about 10PM or 6AM when we get a free second to check in. See you all soon!

This weekend had a lot of interesting activity here at the farm. One of the bigger projects had heavy equipment working hard on the new parking area.

Since we're fairly certain we all understand what's going on for Pumpkin Patch, here is our annual announcement for Pajama Night event tickets - WITH CHANGES!

As Pajama Nights grew more popular over the years we have had a rough time with an influx of guests and our webpage crashing. Our poor old Victorian-era Baldwin woodburning web-server just simply doesn't have the muscle to handle all your eager inquiries.

The facts are this. Tickets go on sale 9AM on October 1st. Tickets are capped per night. Ticket sales will be handled this year by a 3rd party processing service. There is a small service fee. Once you are in the queue do not leave or refresh the page until your tickets are 100% processed and you have confirmation in hand. The processor has their own waitlist processing program.

12 days until Pumpkin Patch!!

Some projects are years in the making. While we still have "no access" type signs up, it feels great to confirm that the new two lane entrance, bridge, and access road are mechanically complete! More importantly, this project will greatly increase safety for everyone, and as Safety is the first line in our rulebook, this is very important for all of us.

The new entrance is on Reed Ave, south of either of the previously used gates or the driveway. This will keep patrons and staff safer and happier by reducing or eliminating issues with people coming over the hill southbound on Reed, confusion choosing an access point, and the headaches with the Adams intersection. Thanks to everyone involved in this long project!
