UPDATE 8:15 am Monday 6/30/25 - Help! We're stuck on no more donations coming in! We still need to raise $1700 to reach the $2500 we need, in order to cover month-end expenses and begin to chart a path forward.

Urgent Plea from FFFR's President:
For over 11 years FFFR has been a strong voice for the dogs who need us most - those that many adopters and rescues passed by. Now we need your help, to keep speaking up for the underdogs.
Please donate today - they need us and we need you!
There are so many CT rescues begging for fosters, and so many pounds in CT that are full to overflowing. FFFR hasn't been able to take any new dogs for an unbelievably long FOUR YEARS! We won't be able to do that until we are reliably able to cover the cost of care for our current dogs and begin to pay down a massive amount of debt. We want so badly to be able to help! If you, like we do, want to be part of the solution, please donate today as generously as you can. With over 76,000 on our page, just think what it would mean if only 1/8 of you donated only $5! Please use one of the links in this post today, to donate today and help us help the dogs that need us the most!
One of the dogs in our rescue needing funding is Rosey - pictured here. She's a forever foster dog in the rescue who has horrible chronic allergies that require medication and prescription food to manage them. She also has early kidney disease and is on a number of medications for that. Altogether the cost of her care is approximately $600/month. The food alone costs about $200/month! She became an FFFR dog in 2015 - was adopted, was returned in 2018 do to divorce, and has been with us since. In the time she's been back with us she's had surgery to repair 2 torn acl's, a torn meniscus, a toe amputation due to a tumor, and a splenectomy due to a tumor that was threatening to rupture.
Your donations will make it possible for us to cover the care for dogs like Rosey!
