THE HOAGIE HAULER IS BACK!
Sasquatch and his favorite alien are running the river this weekend, and they're bringing the goods - our Man Hungry Cheesesteak special is on for Saturday, Sept 19th, and Sunday, Sept 20th only!

Sasquatch got abducted straight into TWRA's info night - and he brought hot dogs back with him!
Tomorrow, Wed Sept 16th, 6-8 PM on the back deck: we're welcoming the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency for an evening all about our local waters. Will Collier (TWRA Regional Stream Fisheries Lead) and Justin Spaulding (Regional Streams Biologist) will cover the history and purpose behind the Delayed Harvest program and what it means for our region, then open the floor for Q&A on regulations, TWRA activities, and anything else on your mind. Delayed Harvest kicks off October 1st - come get the full story before it starts!

And since it's Wednesday, that means Roswell Hot Dogs are 2 for $5, with dinner available 4-6 PM. No mom has to cook - Sasquatch already ordered his.

There's something special about watching someone save up for their first fly rod. Not ask for one, not get one handed to them — save for it. Trip after trip, checking in, asking questions, maybe eyeing the same Cortland 4-weight in the case for weeks before it was finally his.

That's exactly what happened with one of our regulars, and honestly, it's one of our favorite kinds of days at the shop.

We've watched him come in curious, ask the right questions, and put in the time to actually understand what he was buying — not just what looked cool on the wall. That kind of patience says a lot about someone, and it's exactly the kind of angler this river deserves.

Now he's got his Cortland 4wt in hand, and we couldn't be more excited to watch what comes next. The first cast. The first snag in a tree (it happens to everyone). Eventually, the first fish. And down the road, the stories he'll tell about the rod he worked for.

This is what it's all about for us — not just selling gear, but watching people build a real relationship with this river, one cast at a time. Reliance Fly & Tackle has been part of a lot of "firsts" over the years, and we don't take that lightly.

Tight lines, man. We can't wait to see where this rod takes you.
