When your kids are sick and you’ve run out of potatoes for soup, it’s nice to just go harvest them fresh! This was all that was in one potato bag. Not a great harvest but was just what we needed to make hamburger soup!

3 rounds of sanding to get these as smooth as possible and a good amount of wood filler. 6 hours yesterday! Today I did the primer. The goal is to have this up Sunday! I just need to find the time over the next few days to put two coats of the prettiest light pink!

Why finish the old projects when you can have the novelty of a new one! We all have ADHD in this house (I’m serious here). We’re a mess and we need help finishing tasks!

Taking a moment outside to calm a bit. Have you ever heard hummingbirds quite like this?! I hoped the camera would also pick up the hun of their wings but I’m not sure it quite got how loud these little birds are! We have 4 that visit everyday! And yes, we still have some tile and other things on the front to take care of 🤪

The one honeydew of the year! It’s massive. It needs a day or two in the fridge to sweeten in its own juices and I think it will be perfect!

We’ve lived in this house for about 10 years and I’ve not ever had a dedicated linen closet. I do now! It still needs to be painted but it’ll do for now. I’ll also fold things better when they’re put up for good! We found so many more mistakes from that painter while we were in there 🙄

The painter didn’t bother to put our vent covers back up! I could get to two of them but the last two pictures are the ones I couldn’t manage myself. Shame on this painter.
