Witch Jar 101
A witch jar is basically a little container spell you build to hold an intention. People use them for protection, home peace, banishing negativity, confidence, sweetening energy, and more.
Here's a beginner-friendly way to make one:
1) Cleanse your jar
Smoke cleanse, sound cleanse, or just rinse it and set the vibe with a quick intention.
2) Choose your purpose
Pick ONE clear intention (protection is a great starter).
3) Add your ingredients (examples)
Salt: protection + purification
Rosemary: protection + clarity
Bay leaf: wishes + manifestation (write your intention on it)
Black pepper: banishing + warding
Rose petals: love + softness (if you want gentle energy)
A personal taglock: hair, a name paper, a photo (optional)
4) Seal it
Close the lid and seal with wax if you want (black for protection, white for cleansing, pink for love).
5) Charge it
Hold it, breathe into it, speak your intention out loud, and visualize it doing its job.
Where to keep it:
Near your front door, on your altar, under your bed, or tucked somewhere private.
Safety + respect note: avoid anything that can mold/rot such as fresh fruit if you're sealing it long-term.
