Happy Nevada Day from bukit! 🩵

We started bukit for one reason. We wanted to make it easier for people in Northern Nevada to shop with local merchants. That’s still our entire mission.

One of our favorite moments in the gift shop is when someone picks up something and asks, “These are made here?” We love getting to say yes. Someone who came in looking for a gift walks out knowing the name of a local business. That’s why we do this.

At bukit, we believe the most meaningful gifts tell a story.

Our handcrafted floral arrangements are designed with fresh, seasonal blooms and presented in stunning hand-painted glass vases by local artist Teresa Carter of 🎨 Each vase is individually painted by hand, making every arrangement truly one of a kind. When the flowers have been enjoyed, the vase becomes a beautiful keepsake to display or refill again and again.

By choosing one of these arrangements, you’re not just giving flowers—you’re supporting local artistry, celebrating creativity, and sharing a gift that continues to bring joy long after the bouquet is gone.

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

At bukit, we believe that communities are strengthened when every voice is valued, every story is heard, and every person has the opportunity to thrive. Juneteenth is a time to reflect on our shared history, celebrate Black culture and achievements, and recommit ourselves to building a more inclusive future.
