My first 10 year view renewal and it’s one I will never forget.

Melanie and Kevin celebrated their love nestled in the beautiful Lake Tahoe mountains, and it was truly such an honor to be a part of their day. Every thoughtful detail reflected their story, and designing florals that complemented the natural beauty surrounding them made this celebration even more special.

Come design this dried grassy bouquet with me. 🌾

I had a few extra flowers in the studio and had been saving this dried bear grass for a couple of months. I finally had the perfect excuse to create something just for the joy of creating.

As creatives, we sometimes need to make something that’s simply for us. No client vision. No expectations. Just the freedom to explore, experiment, and let creativity lead.

I always like to push myself creatively because it allows me to think outside the box, discover new techniques, and keep growing as an artist. Those moments of play often become the inspiration for future designs.

Never stop creating just because you don’t have a reason. Sometimes your best work comes from making something simply because you wanted to.

There’s something about Sundays that reminds me to slow down.

We’re in the busiest season of weddings, freelancing, floral deliveries, proposals, emails, and everything in between. It’s easy to get caught up in checking things off the list and moving straight to the next thing.

But I’ve learned that when life gets the busiest, that’s when I need to ground myself the most.

Slow mornings with my boys, a cup of coffee, a walk outside, or simply taking a moment to pause helps me reset. Those quiet moments give my mind the space to breathe and allow me to show up as my most creative self for every wedding, every client, and every opportunity.

The takeaway? Don’t confuse constant motion with progress. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down long enough to reconnect with yourself.

Lately, I’ve found myself feeling incredibly grateful.

This season of life is busy in all the best ways. For so long, I dreamed of reaching a point where my days would be filled with creating, growing, and saying “yes” to new opportunities beyond weddings and events. To finally be here feels surreal.

To this amazing flower community—thank you. Your encouragement, support, and belief in what I create means more than I can put into words. And to my friends and family, thank you for cheering me on every step of the way. Having people who celebrate your wins alongside you is such a gift.

If there’s one thing this season has reminded me, it’s that the dreams you’ve been quietly working toward are worth it. Even when life gets busy, keep making time for what sets your soul on fire. Keep planting the seeds. Keep showing up. Keep believing.
