To our neighbors who have been evacuated, displaced, or may soon be by the Floriston Fire: Zoomies & Purr is here to help.

If you had to leave home without enough food or essential supplies for your pets, please come see us. We can help with pet food, treats, litter, bowls, leashes, and other immediate necessities at no charge. There are no complicated requirements and no judgment—just tell us what your pets need, and we will do everything we can to help.

Supporting local pets and the people who love them has always been part of who we are. This is not a special promotion or a temporary program created because of the fire. We help families in our community every day, and we will continue to be here whenever our neighbors need us.

If you cannot safely reach the store, please message us. As long as conditions and road closures allow, we will work with you to get supplies where they are needed.

We are located in the D’Andrea Shopping Center next to Safeway in Sparks. Please share this post so it can reach anyone who may need assistance.

A Red Cross evacuation shelter will open at 6:00 p.m. for community members displaced by the in Lake County.

Shelter Location:
📍 Lake County Fairgrounds - Fritch Hall
401 Martin St, Lakeport, CA 95453

⛑️ Red Cross volunteers and County personnel will provide safe shelter, water, meals, emotional support and additional resources to evacuees and their small pets impacted by the wildfire.

If they have time, evacuating residents are encouraged to bring the following for each member of their family & small pets:
• Prescription & other emergency medication
• Extra clothing
• Pillows & blankets
• Hygiene supplies
• Important documents
• Other comfort items for children & pets

Stay safe with these tips:
• Be ready to evacuate.
• Keep your emergency kit nearby.
• Follow local authorities for evacuation updates from Lake County Sheriff's Office, CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit and local news.
