Summer Wellness goes beyond individual impacts. Intentional wellness programming can extend to the community we live in. When we contribute to our own healing and well-being, we can positively impact our local communities and neighborhoods. Our wellness strategy should integrate designs that offer a sense of community, purpose, and belonging.

Deep gratitude to a loyal, expanding, and supportive community, you looked past the distractions and insisted on growth and meaningful action.

While parenting, I adapted; while healing and designing, I kept communicating and shifted from survival to intentional action and steady consistency, embracing leadership and teams that center justice, transparency, growth, and shared healing.

This is about all we can become when we use our voice for good.

PNW Climate Week (July 13–19, 2026) is the region’s leading cross-border environmental event, focusing on air pollution solutions, clean energy infrastructure, and reducing emissions.

Community-driven activities take place in seven cities, from Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR, to Vancouver, BC, and Bend, OR.

The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency organizes major events, including roundtables with local elected officials at Seattle City Hall to address community smoke, emissions, and urban air quality.

The Clean Air Task Force (CATF) brings together expert panels on clean energy generation, nuclear innovation, and upgrading the power grid to build a resilient system.

When you choose to build — which I’m hoping happens soon — let’s make it run on clean energy. I believe what we leave behind should ripple into the future, beyond just immediate stakeholders. For a while, we chased common ground with people who didn’t value our journey or our deep connection to the land, and we tried to heal in places that didn’t see us as relevant, so it didn’t work. We stopped searching and turned inward, and true community was waiting. Often, what we want is already here.
