We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but Back Cast Fly Co. is still here, still slinging flies, talking fishing, and probably giving out more fishing advice than anyone asked for.

So, consider this our awkward return to your feed.

And naturally, our first post back is to tell you… we’re going to be CLOSED. 😂

🚨 SHOP CLOSURE — SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 🚨
Back Cast Fly Co. will be CLOSED Saturday, 10/3.

If you need flies, leaders, tippet, that new piece of gear you definitely must have, or just want to stop in and talk fishing, make sure you swing by before Saturday.

After that, we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled program. And yes… we’re going to try to remember that social media exists again.

Future Fly Fishers is Back!

We’re excited to partner with the Upper Snake River Fly Fishers for the 2nd Annual Future Fly Fishers Youth Program!

If you know a young angler who loves the outdoors, or one who just needs a reason to put down the screen and pick up a fly rod, this is the perfect opportunity.

Over two days, participants will learn:
Fly Tying
Knots & Rigging
Casting Skills
Bank Fishing Techniques
Drift Boat Safety
On-Water Fishing

One of the best parts of fly fishing is passing it on to the next generation. This program is designed to build skills, confidence, conservation ethics, and friendships that can last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to the volunteers, sponsors, and members who make events like this possible. We’re proud to be part of it.

📅 July 17–18

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who endured 9 months of growing you…
just so you could stand waist-deep in a river arguing with trout. 🎣

Thanks Mom — without you, these fish would finally know peace.
