It poured rain for the first time since I can't remember when.. as soon as we hit the road and for the duration of the drive. Because, of course it did. All I could do was laugh.

Miraculously, the skies cleared minutes from arrival and the campsite was dry. We got camp set up moments before dark.

This lone toy elephant was left behind on our picnic table to greet us. It didn't feel accidental, like it was left behind. It felt intentional..traditional.

A camping talisman.

My question to you is...

Would you leave it behind for the next visitors or take it with you as a keepsake ?
