Time: 8-2

Activity: Frame the walls, paint the siding

Address: 8789 Peterson St, Sayner, WI 54560 (this address is the Sayner Public Library, we will be framing and painting in their parking lot while the Habitat Slab sets, later on in week 1 with the CareAVanners we will take the framed walls to the site and frame the house!)

Parking: outer area of library parking lot

Notes: Lunch Provided!!!

What to Bring/wear: Gloves, closed toed shoes, water bottle.

August 13,14,20,21,27 & 28 (Every Thursday and Friday): Rhinelander WI - ReStore

Time: 10-2PM

Activity: Restocking shelves, cleaning donations, inventory

Address: 908 Lincoln St Rhinelander WI

Parking: In ReStore parking lot, closer to the delivery bay (to leave closer parking spots for customers)

Notes: Snacks and Water Provided

What to Bring/wear: Water bottle, gloves, closed toed shoes & lunch

Time: 9-2pm
Activity: Third Build By High School: Tyvec building, install fascia boards
Fourth Build: Insulate the slab

NOTES: Over 2 weeks a crew of Habitat Care A Vanners will be on site lending their vast experience to the success of our 2026 Summer building season. Local volunteers are MORE than welcome to come join this crew on site. Other ways to volunteer during this time are : bringing lunch to the crew one of the days, dropping off a case of water or some cookies :), or having one of the Care A Vanners visit your civic or church groups while they are in town to talk about Habitat ( please contact Jennie to schedule this).
