Bet you haven’t seen one of these come through a florist shop around here lately. 👀🌺
This custom order was a challenge from the very beginning.
The request? Flowers native to South Africa.
One of the must-haves was various types of Protea, along with several other unusual blooms. And apparently, the customer had called around to quite a few florists looking for someone who could make it happen.
We were told we were the only ones who even knew what Protea was. 😳
Soooo… we took that as a challenge.
Finding the right flowers, figuring out what would work together, and building something that felt true to the request was definitely not as easy as a “normal” order.
And then came the delivery…
45 miles away.
But this is exactly the kind of order that reminds us why we do what we do best. Sometimes it isn’t about making another pretty arrangement. Sometimes it’s about chasing down something you’ve never worked with before and saying, “Alright. Let’s see what we can do.”
And honestly?
It was tough, but we think it all worked out. 😉❤️
