We’re looking for local crafters and makers to join us for the Holly Jolly Jubilee at Midwest Harvest Hills!

📍 Located upstairs in the barn
We’re keeping this event focused on handmade and locally created items only. To give shoppers a great variety, we’ll also be limiting duplicate products and similar vendor categories.

The Cat Coalition is back at Midwest Harvest Hills today from 11am–5pm with adoptable cats and kittens looking for some love.

Come enjoy a fall day at the farm, stop in for a cuddle, and maybe meet the little face that was meant to go home with you. 🎃❤️

Tomorrow, Oct. 12, is National Farmers Day.

Here’s what 1,762 apple trees and too many pumpkin plants to count have taught me:

Not one of them cares about MY schedule. 😂

Farming teaches you patience whether you signed up for it or not.

The crops come in when they come in.
The weather does what it wants.
And the whole thing only works because of the people who show up — our crew, our families, the friends who pitch in to pick, and every one of you who chooses to spend part of your fall here.

To every farmer out there: thank you.

And to everyone who supports one: you’re part of it too.

This season, we also created our own Midwest Harvest Hills tribute inspired by Paul Harvey’s iconic “So God Made a Farmer” — because the longer I do this, the more I understand just how much faith, patience, grit, and heart farming takes.
