When no one buys your bowl you think is a treasure; you just bring it home. This was in the barn garage sale. I was shocked no one ever bought it. I mean I even had the barn stuff at .25 cents but no one came. So I’m going to enjoy it for my fresh veggies on my stove/counter. It’s so pretty. I went shopping for fall in the barn too; be in the lookout for what else I brought back home. I’m hoarding my treasures.

WE WANT YOUR OPINION!

As the weather begins to cool off, we’re planning to stock the Chrissy’s Plants FarmStand more often — and we want to know what YOU would like to see in it!

God’s plan seems to be for us to keep our little garden house for now, so until this property sells, we’re going to continue putting the FarmStand to good use for our community. We will only be moving the stand down 2 miles on 45. We are not leaving just moving to family property.

The store itself will primarily be used for some other projects, but the FarmStand will continue to be a place where you can stop, look around, and hopefully find something useful, local, and affordable.

Here’s what we’re planning to offer more consistently:

🍯 Several local honey vendors
🍓 Homemade jelly & spreads
🥕 Fresh produce as the seasons allow
🥭 Freeze-dried snacks
🌱 Plants and garden-related items
🎁 And hopefully some fun surprises along the way!

But here’s where I need your help…

👉 What would make YOU stop your car, get out, and look around?

What would you actually buy from a small-town FarmStand?

Maybe something you have to drive 20–30 miles to find now?
Maybe snacks for the kids?
Local products?
Produce?
Seasonal items?
Something completely different?

Please tell me in the comments. I’m genuinely asking for opinions right now because I want to stock things that people in our surrounding communities actually want.

I love supporting other small businesses, meeting the people who stop by, and creating a little place that is useful to our community.

One thing I’ve learned is that consistency matters. We simply weren’t able to keep perishable items stocked consistently during the extreme heat, and I didn’t want to put food out that wouldn’t hold up.

Now that cooler weather is coming, we’re ready to give it another go.

Currently at Chrissy’s Plants 701 FM 45 Richland Springs Texas come support local ladies in the community while we still have their gift and holiday decorations. By appointment or if you drive by and see a vehicle. Bobby has been onsite for four to six hours a day the past month. People say they don’t see anyone not true. He parks in the back. It’s not the same time but he’s definitely there working. I meet people by appointments; this is working out best for me and my health.
