We've packed up the car, with difficulty, and left Pennsylvania this morning (ok, it was 3 this afternoon) before we got out with a car loaded with treasures. We even had to use the extra storage rack on the back to get it all. So sad of our annual adventure to be over.

Thought I'd share this with you. The first week of sales we found these 2 Hummel figures. The same figure, 17/0 but with different years marks. It is interesting to see the differences in the "same piece".

The one on the left is Goebel, production year 1971, inspected 1983.

The one on the right is a Goebel Hummel porcelain figurine bearing the TMK-3 "Stylized Bee" trademark used between 1957 and 1963. Also makes W. Germany.

Another day, another auction. This one was in Farmersville- they had 3 auctions going on simultaneously, 2 outside and one inside and a 4th later this evening with a building full of furniture! And they do it every Tuesday during the summer. It is massive and so much fun. LAM worked the inside sit down auction. I was outside where it was hot and humid. But clearly it was worth it.

Another Auction on Saturday, and picked up a few beautiful things. The sales was the estate of a former auctioneer and the inventory was spectacular including a large collection of Vaseline glass, now called Uranium glass and we were able to pick up a spectacular fairy light. Also got this cranberry glass fairy and many other beautiful items - and big bonus was the auction was outside under a tent with cornfields all around and the sun and breeze were wonderful.
