What's the difference between trims, die cuts, and laser cuts? For our clients, it's all the same thanks to our fancy new laser cutting machine! For stationery lovers, here's a breakdown:
✂️ Trims & die cuts are standardized shapes for the most popular shapes and card sizes. Typically, these shapes are cut out of a "die" that punches the shape out of the paper, just like a hole-punch!
✂️ Laser cutting offers a much broader range of customization - this method is used for complex or unusual shapes. Naturally, our most popular shape is the Michigan, but the possibilities are endless!
