So this weekend I’ll be packing up the store; it’s come SO fast! I always say when June comes it’s the holidays, & that’s how it is for me.

I’ll be open through Saturday, but Saturday I’ll also be packing. It’ll be a bit messy, but you’re more than welcome. And anyone who says they saw this post will get 10% off their whole purchase! This sale will be on from today thru Saturday.

So come on down before it’s gone! As a reminder, I’m closed Aug 31 thru Sept 10 for a massive Fall renovation. Be sure & check fb for photos while I’m setting up; you’ll have an idea of what you’ll find at the Fall Open House!

August 17- 2 weeks from today I’ll be closed for the big Fall re-do! I have SO much to do before I pack up the store, but I’m really excited to change it out with all the wonderful finds I’ve gathered over the past 8 months! I think you’ll be very surprised to see how much I’ve found. Lots of primitives, Western, Native American, wood, metal, equestrian, pelts, blankets, antlers, gourds etc.

In case there’s anything in the store you’ve had your eye on, now’s the time before it goes away!

Tuesday Aug 11: I didn’t get to my post yesterday, as I closed for half a day for some serious shopping, as well as getting to the printer, PO, & other much needed errands! Sorry if I missed you.

It’s officially one month till my Fall open house, so the countdown begins! SO much to do to get ready. But I’ll get there. My storage is over-flowing with the Fall stash, so it should be a good one!

It seems like the stores are all getting ready early this year. I haven’t minded the hot weather so much, but the fires & smoke have been especially bad. So guess we’re all ready for something new!

Well, August is here, which means my Fall Open House & Market is right around the corner! Open House will be Sept 11 & 12. I’ll probably close around Sept 1 to re-do the store, but I’ll let you know the exact date for that soon.

(Of course that means Christmas is right around the corner as well but trying not to dwell on that even though I’m working on it!)

I’ve pretty much gotten through the piles of inventory from my Portland trip so that’s a relief!

With the summer heat as well as wildfires & smoke, I think most of us will be more than ready for Fall come mid-September!

July 28 & another month almost gone! My Portland trip went very well (I know because I over-spent). I bought things for now, for Fall & for Christmas. I came home Sat evening & I’ve been working non-stop on inventory, & still have a couple more days to go. Needless to say I’m tired, but I’m slowly getting things put out in the store, so come check it out!

It’s going to be a hot, triple-digit week, as well as a busy one, with the upcoming hydroplane races & art show! But come in & cool off in an air conditioned store where you can relax & shop in peace!
But I’ll be missing it all, as I’ll be in Portland on a 3-day shopping trip! 😎😂

I have a very long shopping list, as I need to buy for summer, Fall & Christmas!

Stacey & Karen will be keeping the store open for me while I’m gone Thursday thru Saturday. So if I don’t see you before I leave, have a great weekend!

Looks like we finally hit the big time (triple digits), & the weeks of summer are ticking by.

I’ve been trying to keep the store full, as well as working on Fall & Christmas, which is a monumental task!

I finally got more antique lace in, so if that’s something you’re looking for, it’s starting to go out the door. Bags of craft jewelry are selling like crazy as well.

I know it’s hot out, but the air conditioning is on, so come on in & cool off for a bit!

I’m looking forward to my Portland buying trip on the 23rd for 3 days- I need so many things for the store, so I’m sure it’ll be an expensive one! I’ll be buying for summer, Fall & Christmas. And most of you know how hard it is to find old Xmas items, so that’ll definitely be a focus. But my stash is growing, & I have lots of primitives for Fall put aside.

After a busy weekend, do something relaxing if you can, like a little leisurely shopping! See you soon!

Uptown plaza hosted Cool Desert Nights again this year: lots & lots of people turned out! Weather was great as well.

July 4th has come back around this Saturday; I’ll be open, & it should be hotter again, great for wandering through the shops. And if you have company in, bring them by for something to do!

The store is full, so come on by & check it out!

If anyone came yesterday & I was closed, I apologize. I didn’t find out till Friday night that I had jury duty Monday morning. After being there several hours, I didn’t have to serve at the trial, so I’m open today!☺️
