My friend Rayanna and I spent most of the day Friday trapping cats.

When you buy from me, it helps me, help community cats.

Someone had dumped 4 cats at one of the colony feeding stations.

I let my rescue friends know about these cats. Heather Lane graciously offered to house these cats if we could catch them.

She Networked these cats so that Batta Cats will assist in getting them vetted.

All 4 were successfully trapped and safe indoors before the Winter Storm hit.

Thank you everyone for working together to save these cats. Thank you Batta Cats, thank you Heather, thank you Ray.

I had a sad realization last night around midnight. This is the last weekend my booth will be open.

I do not yet have a new location for my booth. However, I do hope to find a new place locally soon.

Thank you everyone who has purchased from my booth over the past 4 years. Your patronage has helped fund my animal rescue efforts.

Too many of you it may have just been a shirt, a pair of jeans or a pair of shoes. To local homeless animals it's a meal, medicine, supplies or a spay and neuter surgery.

Thank you again for your support. I hope to be able to serve you again soon.

I put out some 0-9 mos baby clothes, toys and some houseware stuff today.

If there is anything in particular anyone is looking for, please let me know and I can see if I have it in inventory or maybe if one of the other vendors does.

Even though RBC knew it was closing long before now, us vendors didn't. Many of us have been preparing for a Christmas without knowing it was our last.

I had a van full of inventory when they gave me our 30-day closing notice. So did many of the other vendors.

None of us have infinite space so it is still better for us to try to sell as much as we can, even if it is at a discount to reduce the burden we will soon be facing with packing up our booths.

So please keep checking our booths frequently because many of us are adding new stuff on a regular basis because we need to make room for the stuff we have to bring back.

Now is the time to get great deals because you have a lot of motivated sellers. I think we are all willing to negotiate on prices.

RBC also seems to be adding new inventory daily.

We may be closing but we all still have a lot of stuff.

Have you heard the news? The Bargain Center is closing. This was news to me and many of the other vendors.

Many of us were told on Black Friday that we had until the end of December to get out because they were converting the store to just selling furniture. Now it all makes sense

Does anyone know of any nearby flea markets with vendor space available?

How about, does anyone know of any reasonably priced, large buildings in decent shape in the Richmond area for lease or for sale?

Preferably with ample available parking and room for expansion and festivals.

And of course you know I want that conveniently located probably on Route 40 or some other prominent location.

Now before you start casting stones, I pray, I believe in Jesus, I know anything is possible.

We need a hero, we need a miracle, we need a building.

December will be my last month at the Bargain Center. Like many of the other vendors, we just found out today they are converting the flea market to just a furniture store.

The vendors have until the 5th of January to vacate the Bargain Center.

I hope to relocate to a new location soon but I won't have any details until I'm able to secure a space somewhere else.

For all who have shopped in my store, thank you. Your patronage has helped support my local animal rescue and spay and neuter efforts.
