And before we could even put pillows on it, we found our resident book expert already conducting an independent comfort assessment. 😅

No training.
No instructions.
No supervision.

Just a man and a couch that apparently looked too comfortable to ignore.

His findings:

💧🚿 For many of us, taking a shower is as simple as turning a handle.

Hot water.
Clean water.
Any time we want it.

But in many of the places where our ministry partners serve, daily life looks very different.

This basin is being filled with water that will be used to flush a toilet, bathe, wash clothes, and meet basic household needs.

It’s a simple reminder that some of the things we consider ordinary are extraordinary blessings for much of the world.

Perspective changes everything.

One of the things we love about West End Thrift is that your shopping helps support ministries that serve people facing challenges many of us have never experienced firsthand.
